BRAMICH, CARROL ATHELSTONE.
The son of Bernard Harrison and Alice Bramich of Myalla a 22 year old farmer he embarked with the 12th Battalion later transferring to the 47th Battalion.

While serving in France Carrol was appointed Lance Corporal & promoted to Corporal 19th April 1917. He received a gun shot wound to his thumb at Messines  & and returned to Australia 25th August 1917. 

In 1946 he was elected to the Tasmanian House of Assembly as a Labour member for Darwin. In 1956 he resigned from the Labour party and joined the Liberal party. he retired from politics in 1964. He died 1st October 1964 at Wynyard.
