SANDY.
The friends of Mr J. Sandy, postmaster at Shepparton, and formerly of Ararat, will learn with regret of the death of his youngest son, Mr Harry Sandy.
The young man, who was 16 years of age, had just commenced life as a bank clerk at Maroopna, and was attacked by appendicitis. He underwent an operation on Saturday afternoon, but passed away shortly afterwards.
