Biography

"3375 Private George Samuel Deviney, 52nd Battalion, of Helidon, Qld. A farmer before enlisting on 23 September 1916, Pte Deviney embarked from Sydney on HMAT Ayrshire on 24 January 1917 with the 9th Reinforcements.
