Next of kin was given as his sister Elvy Wilson of Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Brother of Colin Campbell Wilson MM who returned to Australia on 19 June 1919 having served with the 20th Battalion; Alfred James Wilson who returned to Australia on 9 March 1919 having served with the 20th Battalion and Walter Bruce Wilson who enlisted in NZ and was discharged in NZ on 2 June 1919 having served with the 2nd Battalion. Also served in WW2
