Thomas Henry Alexander

Thomas was a 25 year old Grazier when he enlisted on the 11-11-1915 and allocated to the 42nd Battalion AIF. He was appointed L/Cpl on the 01-07-1917 and further promoted Corporal on the 08-09-1917 and was appointed Acting Sergeant on the 02-10-1918 before transferring to the 41st Battalion where he obtain his last rank which was Lance Sergeant on the 21-01-1919. Thomas again enlisted for service when World War two started, enlisting on the 05 June 1942 and serving with the 19th Battalion VDC Roma, Queensland. He was discharged from the service on the 21st October 1945.
