LIEUT. N. H. DURSTON.
Lieutenant N. H. Durston, 16th Bat talion, 4th Infantry Brigade (wounded), is the second eldest son of Mr. S. F. Durston, grazier, Poowong, South Gippsland, and "Kingsley," Tennyson street, St. Kilda. He received his primary education at the Poowong State school, and subsequently at the military staff clerks' examination in February, 1911, he obtained fifth position, and was employed at district headquarters, Melbourne, until March, 1912, when he was appointed to the Royal Military College, Duntroon.
