Alfred Granville RACKHAM was born in Robe, South Australia on 30th August, 1895

His parents were Granville Edwin RACKHAM & Elizabeth Ann HICKS

He married Lily Virginia MERRITT in Victoria in 1919 - children, Valerie, Marjorie, Geoffrey & Patricia

Alfred served in both WW1 and WW2 & died in Essendon Victoria on 11th May, 1954 & is buried in the Burwood Cemetery in Victoria, Presbyterian 2, Section V, Grave 84 along with his wife Lily & baby son Jack Alfred who died in 1924 aged 11 months

He was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal in 1918, the British War Medal & Victory Medal - Medals awarded during WW2 unknown
