Maritial status at the time of enlistment was given as Widower. Father of Dorothy Gladys Darby. Dorothy was in guardianship with his mother-in-law, Eliza Smith, of Wagga Wagga, NSW

Son of W. and Darby Station Master of Sydney Goods, NSW

Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal
