Fernleigh was born as Fernley George COLEMAN in Plymouth, England in 1880

His parents were Edward Bennett COLEMAN & Sarah Jane Pearce BONE who married in Camelford, UK in 1876

He married Elizabeth HIGGS in Victoria in 1905

Biography

Mortally wounded at Mouquet Farm, Pozieres on 13 Aug 1916, by shrapnel whilst engaged in digging out some of his mates, who had been buried by a shell explosion.
