Next of kin given as JJ O'Brien of Colac, Victoria. Brother of John Cornelius O'Brien who was killed in action on 20 August 1917 while serving with the 4th Field Ambulance; James O'Brien who was killed in action on 22 March 1918 while serving with the 21st Battlion and Patrick Ignatius O'Brien who served very late in WW1 and then enlisted in WW2 when he served from 1940-46
