Great Great Uncle

Edmund James is my great-great uncle on my father's side. He was the 5th child and 2nd son of his parents. He was injured before his death, but he recovered and then died soon after. He has a remembrance grave in his hometown, with his older brother, who also joined the army but returned. He left behind 9 siblings.
His mother was his next of kin, who then had to fight with the Australian Army for her to receive his pension and his personal belongings.
