"FOUND DEAD
Theodore George, a man who for some time has been at Berri, was found dead on the river bank a short distance below the pumping plant, on January 25. M.C. Nichols furnished a report to the coroner, Mr. H. E. Hall J.P. who deemed an inquest unnecessary. The deceased had been unemployed and in rceipt of relief since he came to Berri some time ago." - from the Murray Pioneer and Australian River Record 02 Feb 1933 (nla.gov.au)
