"LATE SGT. D. WILLIAMS.

Sgt. David Williams was killed in action at Suvla Bay on August 7, 1915. A native of Wales, deceased had been in Australia about six years before he enlisted. He was well known at Brentwood, Yorke's Peninsula. His parents live in Wales." - from the Adelaide Register 24 Jun 1916 (nla.gov.au)
