'He had won 10 Gold Medals - 3 Gold Badges, a Silver Watch and some Silver Badges which he won in various Athletic Sports in Tasmania. He was considered the Champion and fastest runner in Tasmania and won the Gold Medal for the highest jump in Tasmania.'
