A proud family history
William Raymond Hadfield was my wife's maternal grandfather. William Raymond Hadfield was the maternal grandfather of my wife, Kaye Christine Williams - nee Cousins - eldest grand child.
The family are proud of him and his military record in that he joined on 27th August, 1914, took part in the Gallipoli Campaign, and was active through several theatres of World War one, and still actively serving to return to Australia after peace was announced. He went onto live a fulfilling family, working and community life.
