Son of R J DONNOLLEY, 16 1st Avenue, Mount Lawley, WA

Worked for 9 years at the Engineers' Branch of W A Railways.

He left W.A. with the Australian Expeditionty, Force on the 2nd November,1914. In Egypt, April 1915, he was transferred and appointed Lieutenant in 1st 18th Battery in 1st 3rd East Lancs Brigade Royal Field Artillery, with which company he saw service on Gallipoli, nd he was temporarily put out of action at both Gallipoli and Suez. After the withdrawal from the Peninsula he proceeded to France and was attached to the 97th Battery Royal Field Artillery. He was killed in action on the 21st October, 1916, aged 27 years,
