Son of Alfred Paine Fox and Mary E.J. Fox of 'Nirvana', Mary Street, Longueville, NSW. Brother of Sidney James Fox who returned to Australia on 26 March 1919 having served with the 8th Field Company Engineers and Edith M. Fox
