Biography

"Tom Hudson was born in the NSW country town of Nymagee, the third child and eldest son of Francis and Mary Hudson​. He attended St Joseph's School in Nymagee. By the time the First World War began the family was living in the Sydney suburb of Tempe. Tom applied to enlist for the armed forces on 4th September 1916 at the age of 20 and took the oath the next day, his occupation recorded as "Book keeper". He was killed in action a little over one year later on 30th September, 1917 at Polygon Wood, Belgium in the Third Battle of Ypres..."READ MORE LINK (michaelmuranty.wix.com)
