Brother of Joseph James Quinn who returned to Australia on 3 January 1918 having served with the 54th Battalion and Cornelius Quinn who returned to Australia on 2  September 1916 having served with the Imperial Camel Corps

Commenced return to Australia on 27 August 1917 aboard HTNZ Pakeha disembarking on 25 October 1917
