Biography

"LATE PTE. W. J. GRIGG.

Information has been received that Pte. W. J. Grigg was killed in action in France on August 23. Prior to enlisting for active Service, the deceased, who was 21 years of age, was employed in fruitgrowing and gardening pursuits in the Uraidla and Piccadilly districts. He was the eldest son of Mr. J. Grigg, of Uraidla, and was highly respected by the residents of that district. His younger brother, Pte. C.
