THE LATE PRIVATE F. W. DEVESON.
Mrs. F. W. Deveson, of 274, Pirie-street, has received notice that her husband, Private F. W. Deveson, died of gunshot wounds on May 5 at the 3rd Casualty Clearing Station, France. Previous to enlisting be was engaged at the Government railway running sheds as a fitter, and was highly respected by all who knew him. He left a widow and two children.
