Son of John and Elizabeth Walton, of Walker St., Maryborough, Queensland.
IN LOVING MEMORY OF THE DEAR SON OF MR. & MRS. J. WALTON, QUEENSLAND
On Saturday afternoon last the Rev. C S. Hamlyn-Harris, M.A., broke the sad news to the parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Walton, of Walker Street, Maryborough, of the death from wounds received in action in France of Private Robert Walton. Private Walton was 21 years of age, and enlisted about 12 months ago. He has been in France for about three months. The deceased was a popular member of the Wallaroo Football Club. His demise at the entrance into manhood is a sad one, and one which will arouse much sympathy for the bereaved parents.
