Son of Albert Christian Warnecke and Hannah Warnecke nee Loftus of Cunderdin, WA. Brother of Victor Loftus Warnecke who returned to Australia on 4 July 1919 having served with the Australia Army Servie Corps, Dora Elizabeth Warnecke, May Warnecke, Sarah Mary Warnecke and Hope Warnecke
