Son of James and Harriet Annie Lydeamore, of Port Pirie, South Australia.

Private JAMES ALBERT LYDEAMORE, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. James Lydeamore, of Port Pirie, was killed in action in France on September 30. He was born at Sedan, Murray Flats, on July 2, 1895, and was educated at Mannum. He attended the Mannum Baptist Church and Sunday-school. He enlisted from the Semaphore Convalescent Home on July 22, 1916, and passed after several attempts. He worked for Messrs. J. & D. Shearer, and also O. J. Dodd, at Mannum, where he learnt his trade. He was much liked because of his kind and generous disposition.
