Biography contributed by John Edwards

Accidentally shot his comrade 2649 Pte. Edward Henry Fiennes-Clinton (/explore/people/254905) by his "careless handling of a loaded revolver" on 17 Aug 1916 in France. The wound to Charles' hip/abdomen region killed him the same day.
