'Mr. A. S. Phillips, Queen street, is in receipt of a cablegram from his eldest son, Gunner W. J. (Jack) Phillips (/explore/people/85831), saying he is returning to Australia. He was gassed in March last, and in May was wounded In the lower right leg by a piece of high explosive shell. The cable also said his other son, Gunner J. G.
