Pte 2345 Raymond Charles Bennett died of GSW on 17 December 1915. He was reportedly rolling up his pack ready to be evactuated when a stray bullet went through his shoulder and out his neck.

He died on HMHS Devanha between Gallipoli and Mudros and was buried at sea.
