Sapper Frederick Robert Sansom, 1st Australian Tunnelling Company (Reg No-5409), farmer and slaughterman from Williamtown, New South Wales, was laid to rest at Sandgate Cemetery on the 18th December 1958, age 66. ANGLICAN 3-202. 37.
Wounded in action - 29.9.1918 (GSW left thigh).
No headstone.

Wooden cross erected - 24.5.2015.

I will be submitting an application to DVA asking for a Commonwealth War Graves Plaque, curbing and marble chip to restore Honour and Dignity to Mr. Sansom.
