Sergeant Orgill, 5th Australian Pioneers was 29 and the son of Sarah Ann and the late Henry Orgill.

Brother of Percy James Orgill who was returned to Australia on 20 August 1919 having served with the 29th Battalion; Ernest Alfred Orgill who was killed in action on 23 March 1917 while serving with the 23rd Battaiion and is buried in the Beaumetz Cross Roads Cemetery, Row A, Grave 43.
