Biography contributed by Faithe Jones

Son of Alfred Edward and Agnes WATSON, Agricultural High School, Warrnambool, Victoria

HEROES AT THE FRONT,
SERGT. DAVID WATSON.
The very distressing news came to hand last evening announcing the death of Sergt. David Watson, fourth son of Mr. A. E. Watson, headmaster of the  Warrnambool Agricultural High School. He was killed in action in France in the recent fighting, and it was the painful duty of the Rev. John Gray to break the news to the bereaved family. He was about 20 years of age, and is the second son Mir. and Mrs. Watson have lost in the war, the first being Corporal Percy Watson who was reported missing for many months during the Gallipoli campaign, and subsequently declared to have been killed in action. Sincere and wide spread sympathy will be felt for the parents and other members of the family in their latest bereavement.
