Son of Frederick Bignell Oldham and Alice Edith Oldham of Queens Avenue, St Arnaud, Victoria, later of Horsham, Victoria.
Brother of Frederic Horace Oldham who died on 11 March 1917 while serving with the 21st Battalion and is buried in in the Dernancourt Communal Cemetery Extension, Plot V1, Row C, Grave 40; Wilfred Oldham who returned to Australia on 5 June 1919 having served with the Australian Army Medical Corps
