Private Harold William Colley Pollard, born in South Australia, enlisted in Brisbane on 22 September 1915, whilst his cousin, Albert William Colley Pollard (/explore/people/357977) enlisted in Adelaide on 21 December 1914. Both cousins survived their war-time experiences and returned to Australia.
