Saw conflict from 1939 to 1944. Body was exhumed from Castel Petro Cemetery and reinterred in Faenza War Cemetery near Bologna Italy, grave no 2F8.
His father, Lieut. Francis Gordon Sanders (/explore/people/345748) served in the Boer War and WW1.
