"THE LATE SIGNALLER C. R. G. STEER.
Mrs. C. Steer, of Yongala, has been officially notified that her youngest son, Signaller Charles R. G. Steer, was killed in action in France on October 22. He enlisted on the 3rd of April, 1915, and left our shores on June 25 of the same year. He was of a bright and genial disposition, and was liked by everybody.
