Son of John Henry and Lillian Beatrice Waye, of Fullarton, South Australia.

Acting Leading Stoker Leonard William Waye, 21, was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Waye, of Kenilworth road, Fullarton. He joined the  R.A.N. early in 1938, and was drafted to the Sydney in June, 1938
