Son of Frank Hearle Martin and Edith Lillian Martin; husband of Harriett Grace Martin, of Prospect, South Australia.

Able-Seaman James Hearle Mar-tin, 22, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Martin, of Carnarvon street, Cheltenham, served his apprentice-ship at  General Motors-Holden's. He joined the navy last year. He was educated at Woodville School. His wife lives at York street, Prospect.
