Son of Harry Rogers Hill, and of Alice Jessie Hill, of Clarence Park, South Australia.

Engineer Artificer Robert Henry Hill, son of Mrs. A. J. Hill, of 402 Cross roads, Clarence Park, joined the Royal Australian Navy in March, 1940. He  was previously employed by the Municipal Tramways Trust, and was a member of the Intermediate Legacy Club. Won Cup for Boxing
