Son of George Bernard and Ethel Vivette Anderson, of Adelaide, South Australia.

Ord. Seaman Cecil John Anderson, 23, of Station avenue, Blackwood joined the navy 15 months ago. He attended Blackwood School, and worked  for Mr. W K. Gamble as a carpenter He played cricket and competed in athletics with the harriers.
