"Private Casualty Advices

Mrs. Ian Weston, of Karoonda, has been notified that her husband. F.O. Ian Duncan Weston, 27, navigational instructor, RAAF. lost his life as the result of an aircraft accident on the night of September 23. PO Western was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Weston, of Bairnsdale, Vic. and he leaves a widow and a baby son. Before enlistment he was on the staff of the Union Bank at Naracoorte and Jamestown, and at Bairnsdale, Victoria.
