Son of Hurtle Charles and Ellen Dangerfield, of Port Pirie, South Australia.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Dangerfield, Senate road, Port Pirie West, have received official advice that their second son, Sgt-Pilot John C. Dangerfield, who had previously been reported missing, was believed to have lost his life on January 21 when over Germany on air operations. He was a school teacher on the West Coast, Wanbi, and Brutus Bay previous to enlistment. Sgt-Pilot. Dangerneld was captain of a Lancaster bomber, which he was piloting at the time he was believed to have lost his life. He was 29.
