Son of George Abraham Patching and Ellen Patching nee Cotton of Napeir Street, Stawell, Victoria

Commenced return to Australia  on 2 January 1919 aboard HT Berrima

During 1922 Robert married Florence Elizabeth Bridges in Victoria. Florence died in 1965
