Son of George Fox and Mary Elizabeth Fox of Jones Creek, Gundagai, NSW. Brother of James Joseph Fox who return to Australia on 12 June 1919 having served with the 1st Machine Gun Squadron

Commenced return to Australia on 24 July 1919 aboard Dongala disembarking on the 28 August 1919
