From 52nd Battalion AIF
FRANCE - 28 NOVEMBER 1916
The winter was closing in, and the 52nd was still involved in fatigue duty constructing new communication trenches and assisting to improve front line areas. But German shelling was causing casualties. Two men from the 52nd died of wounds received during November:
Private James Patrick KELLEHER #2475, 27 years old from Hobart TAS (born Cork Ireland). Died of Wounds. Buried in St. Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France
Private Claude Ennis WRIGHT #2736, 27 years old from Sidmouth TAS. Died of Wounds. Buried in Heilly Station Cemetery, Mericourt-L'Abbe, France
