He was a son of William and Elizabeth Passmore, of Belmont Lodge, Teignmouth Rd., Torre, Torquay, Devon. His brother, Private Herbert William Passmore, Service Number: 4591-30th Bn., Australian Infantry, A.I.F., also fell. George is remembered on his grave [E. 15. 14512.] in TORQUAY CEMETERY AND EXTENSION in Devon.
