Biography

Allan Douglas ALDOUS was born on 8th July 1924 Kilkenny, South Australia

His parents were Arthur ALDOUS and Marian McQUADE - they had married on 5th September 1917 in Holy Trinity Church, Parish of Dartford, Country Kent, UK

Allan married Lena Helen TURNER on 23rd March, 1946 in Port Pirie Methodist Church - Lena was an English WREN

He enlisted on 23rd November, 1942 with the Australian Army and was with the 2 Battalion Volunteer Defence Corp - he was discharged on 29th October 1945 due to disbandenment of his Corp.

Allan died on 23rd July, 2006, late of Reynella, South Australia - he was cremated at West Terrace Cemetery - ashes taken
