Private Arthur Stuart Pearce was born in Adelaide, South Australia around 1899. He enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force (A.I.F.) on 25th August, 1916 as an 18 year old Clerk from Darling Point.

Private Pearce arrived in England on 10th January, 1917 & was admitted to Fargo Military Hospital on 2nd February, 1917, seriously ill with Bronchitis. Private Pearce died at 4.45 p.m. on 20th February, 1917 from Bronchitis.

Pte Pearce was BURIED IN DURRINGTON CEMETERY, WILTSHIRE on 22nd February, 1917.
Durrington Cemetery contains 141 Australian WW1 Soldiers.
