Son of Mrs F and the late G H ELLISON of 19 Wills Street, Largs Bay, SA.

Husband of Ruth ELLISON of 21 Salter Street, Kensington, SA.

Married with two children, Arthur was educated at Albert School.  He exhibited picture programmes and gave proceeds to various charities and sports clubs and also played for several years in orchestras in South Australia and other States.  He was a member of the Wayville Military Orchestra.  Arthur enlisted in November 1939 but was discharged on account of illness in August 1941.
