"LATE CAPT. R. R. E. SMYTH.

Mrs. R. R. E. Smyth, of Ranleigh street, Woodville Park, has been notified of the death, in action, on September 3, of her husband, Capt. R. R. E. Smyth, who left Australia last year. He was a military enthusiast, and, always took an active part in military matters. For several years he was employed at the G.P.O., Adelaide, and latterly had served in the Customs Department, Port Adelaide.
