Robert Tarvet RENNIE was born in Aberdeen, Scotland on 30th April, 1895 although he lists both the 30th March, 1897 or 29th April, 1905 in his war records of which neither are correct

His parents were Charles RENNIE & Mary PATERSON

He married Barbara Jane MORRISON on 24th July, 1916 in Old Aberdeen, Scotland - divorced

He arrived in Western Australia in 1925 on the ship Orvieto from London & had previously been living in the Goojerat Barracks in Essex, UK

He married Dorothy MOTLEY on 13th March, 1942 in South Australia - 5 known children

Before enlisting in WW2 he had served 9 years in the Gordon Highlanders and the Royal Scots for 15 months

He was discharged on 14th July, 1945 and died on 17th November, 1955, late of Largs North, South Australia
