Son of Mrs BAKER and the late Mr W WISEMAN of Murray Street, Thebarton, SA

Husband of Florence Doreen WISEMAN of 11 Bartels Street, Adelaide, SA

Married with two children, William was educated at Thebarton and Gilles Street Public Schools.  He was a member of the New Adelaide Association Cricket Club, and played football for the West Adelaide Ramblers.  In civlian life he worked for Holden's for several years as an electric welder.  Enlisting in April 1941, he left Australia in September 1941 and saw fighting in Syria and the Middle East.
